Located in the heart of the Art Deco District,
The Wolfsonian exhibits an astounding collection of modern objects—both
the rare and the overlooked—from the 1885 to 1945 era, demonstrating
the active role design plays in motivating actions, expressing ideas,
creating desires, and shaping identities. Free gallery admission
each Friday from 6-9 p.m.
The on-site Dynamo Shop and Café offers a selection of carefully
selected, unconventional gifts, books, and films, much of it inspired
by The Wolfsonian's collection. The Dynamo Café also features
a sophisticated menu in a casual and artfully designed setting, also
inspired by and reflecting the themes of the museum's collection.
The Dynamo Shop and Café is open to the public; tickets not
required.
